Famous for our comedy, our music, our people and vibrant culture. There are a number of things you’ll find in Liverpool which you wouldn’t find anywhere else in the world. Take a stroll down Church Street and drink in the spine of our town, the vibrant street performers, the singers, the dancers, the scintillating can can from local legend Lecky Legs is sure to blow your mind if you’re lucky enough to see it! You may bump into another local legend who belts out some karaoke classics on a plastic microphone, or if you’d prefer to go to a karaoke bar yourself there’s always Woody’s round the corner.

We can’t touch on our wonderful city without 2 of our most successful exports, walk around town at the weekend when the match is on and you’ll see a sea of red or blue. People travel from all round the world to come to watch Liverpool, and some people travel from as far as Wales to watch Everton. Whether you fancy belting out YNWA and paying through the nose for the privilege or if you fancy a lower standard of football you can always visit Everton across the park. Both teams boast a long and decorated history and a tour of each stadium is well worth your time and money!

Liverpool’s nightlife is booming and has always been known as a quality night out - we have the world famous Mathew Street which has some of the most famous Liverpool bars and local bands playing. Concert Square provides a more modern day take on bars and clubs, with something for everyone, or if you’re of the old school there’s always lots of local pubs that have been around for generations and have friendly, loveable old men talking to the fruit machines.

Liverpool is one of the cheapest cities in the UK, we are up in the North West, outside of the London bubble where it’s about £7 for half a pint. Could probably have a wild night out here with £20 mate and still have enough money for a taxi back to your hotel. You can get around on an all day bus pass for less than a fiver day if you want to travel further afield to say Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane or Liverpool or Everton’s training ground. Why you’d go to Everton’s is anyone’s guess but it’s cheap as chips so who is arsed mate? Get on that bus.

Liverpool provides the backdrop for Peaky Blinders - The award winning gangster epic set in 1920s Britain. Flatcaps, cobbles and Cilian Murphy, all that jazz? Well, you’ll be surprised to hear that a large chunk of the Birmingham-based hit show is actually filmed in Liverpool and you can catch a Peaky Blinders bus tour which takes you to all the spots. Hop aboard and explore all of the recognisable locations situated within the city of Liverpool, mainly situated down the stretch of dock around a mile of the city centre, it also boasts restaurants, bars and shops which are not included in Peaky Blinders, unless I missed the episode with a Matalan in the background like.

Could you take on Red Dog Saloons spicy wing food challenge – WITHOUT water? The local Liverpool restaurant is challenging customers to eat spicy chicken wings flavoured with chillis 500 times stronger than jalapeños. You have 10 minutes to eat 6 wings with no other food or drink allowed. What’s worse is that you will have to wait another 5 minutes in a “cooling off” period before any liquid is allowed to touch your lips. You’ll be absolutely steaming at the ears, you’ll be dying to escape and get yourself a drink, you’ll feel like you’re losing your mind, it’ll be just like watching Everton!

Unforgettable memories- from our award-winning bars, clubs and restaurants, we also have incredibly wacky and fun group activities such as Bubble Football, UV Disco Dodgeball & a purpose built Roman themed activity park open exclusively to Hen & Stag Do’s from April to October.
