Over the past few years the Baltic Triangle has become a figurehead for the underground and ‘trendy’ area of town.
Appealing to a cross-section of people, popular with more ‘hipster’ types, you know the ones - they enjoy drinking their gin and tonic out of an 18th Century Victorian Vase or eating a Bulgarian cheesecake served off a satellite dish and paying £80 for it.
Fortunately, this is not all the area has to offer, it has a range of bars with different types of music ranging from house to funk, which appeal to the more laid back people who prefer something different to the hustle and bustle of the main areas in the city centre- the fastest growing area for Liverpool nightlife.

Concert Square has something for everyone - the main square itself has shot girls who come around in the courtyard and twist your arm into getting wrecked - it has several bars around the perimeter to visit as well as bars in the immediate area.
Whether you want to scream Take That songs in Popworld, Liverpool’s premier pop venue, or whether you want to watch a load of goths slide tackle each other and drink cans of Monster Energy in the Krazyhouse just around the corner - there’s a tequila bar too, and an R&B club, there’s plenty to tickle your fancy.

Victoria Street is an area which runs parallel to Mathew Street - there’s a number of bars along this stretch of road, and it’s close to several hotels, it’s also close to the Birkenhead tunnel as well so it’s not all fun and games.
Just off Victoria Street there’s Stanley Street & Liverpool’s gay quarter which houses some of the liveliest and most popular bars in the city, with some of the biggest DJ’s and nights in the North West. From the more established bars, to the local favourites like Heaven, open till 7. If you fancy getting a face full of smoke from a smoke machine whilst drinking a Carlsberg at 6.50am on a Sunday morning, then that is the bar for you!

The world-famous Mathew Street hosts a number of bars, Beatles themed, punk themed and 80s themed, as well as traditional boozers and more lively clubs, there’s literally something for everyone.
Situated between Victoria Street and Liverpool One, with a host of live music venues, it’s a very lively area of town.
With clientele ranging from Japanese Beatles Tourists, to work nights out to lads out in their old suit from the Grand National in 2012 because they haven’t been out for years, everyone is there to have a good time and experience one of the best cities in the UK!
