The month is May and bank holiday is fast approaching! OH SH*T …My words exactly! Not only do you have to try and keep the kids entertained each weekend but now they are off for a whole week.

THE RIVER FESTIVAL
A family friendly weekend taking place on the 31st May 1st & 2nd June. The River Festival is immensely popular each year, inspired by the city’s maritime history as an iconic Port and by trading routes- such as the Columbia Express, The Silk Road and Incense Routes, the River Festival celebrates the Port of Liverpool as an arrival and departure base for world class Tall ships culture, music, food, wine and art.

SUMMER ARTS MARKET
The biggest and best arts and crafts fair is coming to Liverpool on the 1st June, an amazing opportunity for independent artists from right across the region to sell their work directly to the public. WALLACE AND GROMITS MUSICAL MARVEL
Who doesn’t love this iconic duo? Get your tickets now and watch as Wallace prepares to perform his musical masterpiece My Concerto in Ee Lad with help from his faithful canine companion Gromit…what could possibly go wrong?! Even better, this is an interactive experience that features specially created animations as well as live orchestral accompaniment and escapades from the Picture House Orchestra and presenter Matthew Sharp.

Kick off your day with a tour of the 550-acre Safari Drive, with over 700 wild animals! Baboons, Camels, Wildebeest and Rhinos, this is not something you want to miss out on!
